4-star Self Catering accommodation in the picturesque fishing village of Gardenstown, Northeast Scotland

Gardenstown is ideally situated between the cosmopolitan city of Aberdeen with its bustling shops and vibrant nightlife, and Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
Gardenstown is a quaint seaside village nestling amongst red sandstone cliffs. Paths wind among the terraces and provide glimpses of some amazing scenery, from the picturesque harbour to the waves crashing on the rocks below.
A short walking distance from Seilie Cottage is the Garden Arms Hotel & Pub which is full of character, and serves excellent evening meals (reservations recommended). The village also has several small galleries and tea rooms and a restaurant at the harbour.
A short drive from Gardenstown are the twin villages of MacDuff and Banff. MacDuff has a fascinating harbour with an active ship yard, and an award winning Marine Aquarium. Banff is known for its Georgian architecture and a variety of restaurants and shops on its High Street. No holiday is complete to the area without visiting the infamous “Spotty Bag Shop.”
